Hi Loretta,
Well... she is perfect! SO good, no fussing or crying at all. brave and content. She seems to like us and not bothered by the transition. Zac named her Uma Rose. Uma after her momma and Rose for your daughter. I will never get the image of your little girl going along the fence line saying..." Bye Julia Rose, have a good life Julia Rose, I love you Julia Rose!" Oh my gosh makes my eyes drippy. So sweet. Thank you Loretta for such a great experience for my kids. And pick of the litter... we've never had. So this is a very special time bringing her into our life. . . Thank You SO very much! Jill :)

From a new puppy owner 11/23/2009:
Several of the people who have made our puppies members of their families have been gracious enough to keep us informed about how their puppy is progressing. Here are some of their letters.
I'm ---'s daughter, and I just wanted to tell you that we love Buddy!!! We have taken about 100 pictures of him already, and we wanted to send you some. He is very cute and funny, and we love him!
Hi Loretta & David,

Cabo is doing so very well, he is housetrained already at 7 weeks old. I can't believe it. He only had three accidents in the house. My Vet said he is very healthy and going to be a big boy.

The assistant at my Vet also has a yellow lab from you. She heard me say your name to the Vet and she came into the room and said "I have a dog from them too" Her name is Beth I think. She works at Walker Vet in Stockton.

He loves stuffed animals, he has a ton of toys he drags all over my house. He did great transitioning over to his new BLUE dog food for puppies (large breed)
He sleeps through the night gets up at 5:30 am sharp and wants his breakfast. He is crate trained too, goes in there all by himself and loves it. He is also taking to the leash and collar VERY well.

He is 12 lbs and is doing great. Here are some pictures. Thanks again.......

Hi Loretta (and family) just wanted to send you all pictures of jack! I can't believe he will be one year old in a few days :-)...jack has been a wonderful addition to our family, we couldn't see our lives without him :-)...he has an incredibly calm temperament and quite honestly sees himself as one of the kids...always hanging out with his big brothers :-)...nothing pleases him more than being able to "wrestle" w/ the boys or play a came of "football" w/ him being the number one target...during the holidays he must of had 10 kids chasing him trying to get the ball away and he was happy as could be...despite his 80+lbs he is very gentle with the kids! he loves playing fetch and follows commands extremely well...aside from his athletic skills he also quite the handsome young man :-)...we have received many compliments :-)...

love,

Hi,

I just wanted to send you all a little update on Captain. He has been the best puppy and I love him so, so much. Although he enjoys chewing on the baseboards more than his toys at times. ;) I took him to the vet this past weekend to get his last shots and can’t wait to take him out on his first hike this weekend. He's been a very friendly, happy and healthy pup and everyone who meets him loves him. He also has been going to puppy class and has been doing extremely well! He already knows sit, down, speak, leave it, look at me, jump and his personal favorite, shake. Here are a few photos from the past two months that I thought you would enjoy!
